GST on premium TVs slashed to 18%: What it means for OTT

The Goods and Services Tax Council has reduced the tax on larger televisions. TVs bigger than 32 inches will now have 18% GST. Earlier it was 28%. This change will make premium TVs more affordable. Consumers can save thousands of rupees. The tax cut is expected to boost sales during Diwali. More people may watch content on OTT platforms.
