Remittances surge: Q1 inflows touch $33.2 billion; CAD narrows sharply

India's current account deficit narrowed significantly in Q1 FY26, driven by a surge in remittances to $33.2 billion and services exports reaching $97.4 billion. While FDI inflows increased, higher outflows reduced net additions.
