Israel releases Oct 7 attack footage; children seen pleading as father dies shielding them
Israel released disturbing security footage depicting the October 7 Hamas attack on the Taasa family home. The video shows a Hamas militant killing firefighter Gil Taasa as he shielded his two sons from a grenade. Injured by shrapnel, the boys witnessed their father's death and were later offered drinks by a fighter before the family's eldest son was also killed.
