Fox Business reporter Charles Gasparino said Thursday that as Elon Musk offered to buy Twitter, a legal source told his network that the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Department of Justice launched what he described as a "joint investigation" into a "myriad of Musk regulatory issues primarily involving Tesla."

If true, this appears to be nothing more than a blatant act of political intimidation.

Musk said during a TED appearance on Thursday that the SEC's investigations into Tesla are "like having a gun to your child's head.

Japan does not have ANY welfare programmes like Free LPG etc.

Their motto :
Work for it or do without.

These are possibly the 5 best sentences you'll ever read and all applicable to our Indian experiment :

1 . You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity.

2 . What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.

3 . The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.

4 . You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it!

5 . When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that is the beginning of the end of any nation.

Good and sane citizens should stop this mania.

Can you think of a reason for not sharing this ?

CIVIC RECOGNITION OF OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS 2022

The above Civic Recognition Awards were introduced by the Council with the aim of encouraging and giving civic recognition for voluntary service to the community to groups or to an individual. Residents and organisations of the Borough were invited to submit the name of any person or group whom they believed might be eligible for the award.
You will be pleased to learn that a Civic Recognition of Outstanding Achievement nomination put forward by the Mayor, Councillor James Hunt, was successful. The awards ceremony will take place on Saturday 14 May at 12pm at Bexley Civic Offices. The afternoon will start with refreshments in the Atrium and then we will ask you to be seated in the Council Chamber with the other guests where the Mayor will be delighted to present you with your award. The event will be covered by a professional photographer, we will post this to you after the event. We will also be doing a video to share on social media so that you all get the recognition you deserve.
