Why do Nepalese have to organise many programmes around the world to state that Buddha was born in Nepal?

There is only one answer, we were not taught to market our heritage the way western civilization did.

Could you imagine? Whenever a family becomes financially well off they will have a dream to go for holiday in Europe, Australia and America. But in reality , Countries in Southeast Asia including Nepal have far more entertaining and magnanimus tourism destinations that have no comparison in the world.

But still, many governments came and gone, but no one thought of   developing strategies to utilise the wealth of our country Nepal on a bigger scale. This job cannot be done by mere employees, but we need a dedicated and passionate new generation who understands and can develop strategies.

If you look deep! everything is already captured for us  in our ancient books. All we have to develop is the marketing skills to promote the ancient heritage we have.

Dr. Tulshi Dharel has been leading the way in this field and has already established an association towards this front. We all can contribute towards this by encouraging the young generation to join the movement.
