Grimsby Town punished for fielding ineligible player vs Man United; Will they be expelled?
Posted
Grimsby Town, despite their Carabao Cup victory over Manchester United, faces a £20,000 fine from the EFL for fielding an ineligible player, Clarke Oduor. The registration was submitted late due to a computer issue, which the club self-reported. Grimsby admitted the error and is paying £10,000 immediately, with the rest suspended. Manchester United has the option to appeal the decision.
